Send Me An Angel John is a shy guy. After a brutal put- down in a club, he retreats to the loos and meets an angel (as you do!) The angel allows him to become the object of desire of anyone he fancies. And it’s a lot of fun – till Two Minutes After Midnight. In the same club, Chris looks forward to a night out but finds heartache when his new boyfriend kisses another guy in front of him in The Judas Kiss. In the superb Israeli film Send Me An Angel, Ronny is spending his 30th birthday alone. He calls a chat line, seeking masculine ‘army types’. Blonde twink Sahar arrives but is not what he’s looking for. Ronny kicks him out without so much as taxi fare home, then heads into downtown Tel Aviv looking for fun… and runs into Sahar again. Will the mismatched pair connect this time?
